Frankly: The travel to Rostock part is a bit exhausting. But it is worth the effort! Ask former speakers and they'll tell you how much fun it is there. Take the chance to visit a part of Germany you would hardly otherwise recognize.

For the lucky once with access to a corporate jet: There is a nice airport in Rostock where even Air Force One has landed (G7 summit a couple of year ago). Have a look at www.rostock-airport.de
For those of us who still have to fly commercial (;-)): Don't look for flights to Rostock! Search for flights to Berlin (BER) or Hamburg (HAM) and take a train or a rental car (1-2 hour drive on the German Autobahn) to Rostock. You'll save yourself a lot of time and money. There are plenty of flights to Berlin and Hamburg.
